You’ve heard it before, “they just became successful overnight!”
With social platforms nowadays, this might be true. But for the other 99.9% it couldn’t be further from the truth.
An overnight success is the accumulation of 1000’s of small, consistent wins.
Yes I said “1000’s”.
- Do you need a breakthrough?
- Are you waiting for “your time to shine”?
- Are you asking yourself, “why them and not me?”?
Here’s the thing, besides asking yourself those questions begin asking yourself, “what can I do today to set myself up for success?”
Only then will you begin accumulating 1000’s of small, consisten wins.
There’s this thing called the Consistency Principle.
Basically, it’s the reality that (no matter the industry) small acts repeated with consistency lead to larger achievements over time.
“Small disciplines repeated with consistency every day lead to great achievements over time.” — John Maxwell
Your mindset needs to shift from “how can I take one gigantic step forward?” to “how can I grow in small amounts on a daily basis?”
Control what you can control.
You can’t control the “breakthrough”, but you can control the events leading up to it.
